Punjabi singer Jagtar Jagga’s title song’s video /Audio

- The video of renowned Punjabi singer-artiste Jagtar Jagga’s title song
‘Duniya’ from his upcoming album
- was released at Le Crown Hotel in Sector 35
today. Shashi Films Private Limited and Sky Weather Entertainment
- Private
Limited have produced the project. Apart from Jagga, producer Shamsher
Pathania, music composer
- HM Singh (Kukki) and video director Arya vir Arya were
present on the occasion.
- The singer told the media person that he was a native of Panjola village
in Ropar district. At present he
- hasbeen staying in Mohali for last few years.
“I developed interest in singing from my childhood. I participated
- in cultural programmes in school and college. I sang songs of famous Punjabi singer Kuldeep Manak
- and Mohammad Sadique,” he said, adding that after college, he learnt music from PL Sharma
for a few years. Later,
- Jagga trained under the tutelage of music composer HM
Singh and learnt the nuances of singing.
- In 1989, his debut album “Teri Maa Ne Sheesha Torhta” was released by Peritone
Company. The music was
- by Atul Sharma.
- The album received an overwhelming
response. In just two months, nearly 7.5 lakh cassettes were sold.
- Several albums followed and these included “Aaa Laa Lae Shartaan” by
Catrack Music .With the passage of
- time,
- Jagga gained a foothold in the music
industry and started getting offers for shows. There was no looking
- back.In 2000 leading music company BMG
Crescendo released Jagtar Jagga’s album “Suraj”
with much
- fanfare.
- It received a huge response at the national level and, with
this, Jagga became quite popular. He is Punjab’s
- first singer-artiste whose
videos have been shot on a large scale.
- After the success of “Suraj”, he did stage shows with several renowned
artistes of Bollywood and a mark for
- himself
- and Punjabi singing.After a long gap, Jagga has come out of with a song Duniya that will be
quite popular
- among
- the youth.
- The song was shot in Latvia, Europe. Several
international models and artistes have worked in it. Music
- of the song is
- composed by famous Music director HM Singh and video is directed by Arya vir

- The singer said he was working on two more songs that would be released
shortly. In times when anything passes off as a
- song, Jagga is committed to sing
meaningful songs that promote Punjabi culture.
